What to wear?
Have you heard of first impressions? Be you! We will be both outside and inside, so dress comfortably and be prepared to move around. There is no need for a tuxedo or bath suit. Our Scarlet Raptor will be looking for those with some school pride (hint!) so definitely not another institution’s swag! Oh, and we will walk around the campus so, maybe not the fancy dress shoes.
With the ever-changing current pandemic, our guidelines, which may change are:
Bring a face covering. They are required in the Library and classroom spaces.
Limitation on group sizes
Combination of indoor and outdoor activities
You be you - meaning, if you aren’t comfortable, we honor that.
Grub and Hydration
We will provide you with lunch, drinks, and snacks during the program.
Where do I park?
There will be parking available on site in Lots 15 & 16, along with Orientation Leaders directing where to go!
Can I bring my family?
At Rutgers–Camden we LOVE family, we hope you say our campus community is like family one day, but for Scarlet Raptor Welcome, its students only!
How do I prepare?
Rest, figure out how you will get to campus, Be You, download the Official Rutgers–Camden App, and get your EventPass ready. You will use the App during Scarlet Raptor Welcome to use your EventPass for check-in, follow the schedule, and communicate with other students and Orientation Leader! Available on the App Store and Google Play Store, please visit rutgerscamden.campusapp.com to download the Campus App!
