Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

 

Mary Beth Daisey is the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at Rutgers–Camden, a position she has held since 2003. Mary Beth joined the Rutgers community in 1986 as a career counselor at Rutgers–New Brunswick. She then became acting regional office director, a position she held until 1991. She returned to Rutgers in 1993 and, prior to her current position, served as assistant dean of external affairs and career services where she directed career placement efforts on behalf of students as well as the law school’s alumni relations endeavors.
 
As associate chancellor, Mary Beth oversees a wide array of student services, including residential life, dining, health services, student activities, athletics, recreation, career planning, Campus Center, Dean of Students, and judicial affairs. She also serves on university committees on degree audit, academic integrity, campus climate, safety, retention and advising. In addition she acts as the student ombudsman for the Camden Campus.
 
Mary Beth is a member of the National Academic Advising Association, Chief Student Affairs Officers of New Jersey, and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
