ATHLETICS AND RECREATION

Rutgers University Camden currently offers fifteen intercollegiate programs throughout the year. Teams are fielded in men and women’s soccer, volleyball, golf, women’s rowing, men and women’s cross-country, men and women’s basketball, men and women’s indoor track, softball, baseball and men and women’s outdoor track and field. Rutgers University Camden is a member of the NCAA Division III, ECAC, NJAC and NJAIAW.

The Rutgers Camden campus has access to some of the most state of the art athletic facilities for any intercollegiate sport or recreational activity. Campbell’s Field on the waterfront is home to the Scarlet Raptors varsity baseball team. The Rutgers Camden Community Park, directly adjacent to Campbell’s Field is home field for the Scarlet Raptors varsity soccer teams and the women’s softball teams. The community park also hosts most of the department’s outdoor intramural and recreational events and activities.

The Camden County Boathouse on the Cooper River is the newest addition to our athletic facilities and it serves as home base for the Rutgers Camden crew team.
